An autenthic Roman experience

About Me
My name is Francesca. I started mosaic studies in 1990 with Maestro Buccolieri in his astonishing lab in Piazza Navona reproducing the marble roman mosaic. In 2000 I specialized in micro mosaic using glass on crete with Maestro Meloni. I've been keeping experimenting different techniques and from 2015 I am mixing marbles and vitreous pastes on net with industrial glue to create original and modern compositions.
My mum Paola, a professional chef, will help us in teaching how to prepare the everyday but tasty roman dishes.

What we will do
Brighter and Stronger Artists
We will meet at 4.30pm at the metro station Cipro Museo Vaticani and we will drive to my house to start our day together.
In my lab, I'll show you some of my works presented in past exhibitions and then start our mosaic course. After a first description of the various techniques, we will choose a graphic subject that we will make in the direct method. So I'll create your own souvenir of the day to take home with you.
After leaving the mosaics to dry, we will move to the kitchen to prepare together the dinner courses, which will be: pasta alla amatriciana, saltimbocca alla romana, piselli e prosciutto sweet millefeuille.
My mum Paola and I will teach you how to prepare easy food with common ingredients which you will be able to find in your country and to cook again. At 8.30 pm we will have dinner on the terrace or by the fireplace and some talks to share the experience and life in Roma.
*In the dinner will be present pork meat, gluten, milk and derivates.
